Can you please post a screenshot the button in step 3? Also, which application does this happen to for example? Also, does this happen with flatpaks? rpms? snaps?

Sorry, I (dumbly) performed the update before reporting this bug. Currently, I have no updates available. So I can not post a screenshot. If I remember correctly, the application might have been Audiotube or Codium (but don't quote me on this). This happened with the Flatpak for whatever application I experienced this issue with
Created attachment 169130 [details] where should the button be? Unfortunate. I am not quite sure where the button to take you to the more stable version should be though. I am attaching a screenshot of what I am seeing with a vscodium that was downgraded to some 2023 version. If you could tell me where the button should be I can maybe figure it out from there.

The button is not present in your video. Not to worry, though. This also happens with Calibre. I have recorded a video of the bug, but cannot yet send it. I will in a few hours
