Created attachment 169029 [details] error showing when i plug in the HDMI cable to my other screen SUMMARY Connecting HDMI cable to laptop does not provide video output to the monitor. Doesn't work on x11 nor wayland. I only get logs like that when using x11, when on wayland, i don't get any logs in the journal when i plug in the HDMI cable. Interestingly i don't get any logs when OBS is open.

There have been some fixes in later Plasma versions (like bug 482642, although that one is only supposed to apply on X11). Can you confirm whether this is still an issue for you?
