Crash Log

SUMMARY
I installed digikam with homebrew on my mac os x system. It was working fine until I added 2 collections (one of thelm containing some avif files).
Since then, I cannot open digikam. It only stays open for 2 sec and then crash.


SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

macOS: 14.4.1 
Digikam 8.3.0

Hi,

We have never tested digiKam under Macos using Homebrew. We support Macports instead and we build a PKG installer available here:

It crashes in an AVIF image, this crash has already been reported.

I tried but without success, it keeps crashing with this version in a pkg...

I just hope to be useful by reporting this bug !
