SUMMARY

On X11, the screen goes black after locking and only the cursor is visible. I can still enter the password and unlock the screen, but the screen remains black the whole time. The screen starts displaying normally only when I turn off the wifi (I have a physical button to toggle the wifi). The bug is very similar to BUG 481308, but that bug is market as fixed, so I decided to open this one.

I can confirm this behavior. However, I cannot confirm the WiFi-behavior since I am connected to a LAN. I would like to add, that from time to time it is working as expected - but I couldn't find out yet what was the trigger. It seems to be more of a race issue.

At the moment I am on Wayland - here it works for me.

My system:
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240426
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0
Kernel Version: 6.8.7-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × AMD A8-7650K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G

Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon R7 Graphics

Currently, I can only confirm that using any plasma style other than Breeze (Breeze Light, Breeze Dark) solves this issue for me.

Thanks and confirmed. Breeze and Breeze Dark are the only affected themes for me. Breeze Twilight and openSUSE themes are working.
