The second problem is that sometimes sending images to the laptop fails, and the app makes a sound, a kind of beep. I also ran into the problem with the app just beeping when I try to send files to my laptop (running Arch Linux with git master KDE Connect), and reinstalling the app on the iOS side (iPhone 12 running iOS 17.6 and version 0.3.0 (9) of the app) works around it. Although, in my case I think I only ran into the issue because the laptop side KDE Connect crashed due to bad configuration on my part when sending a file from iOS the first time, and the beeps happen ever since that interrupted attempt. Also, I noticed that even though sending files to my laptop stopped working with those beeps sending files to my Android phone still worked.
