SUMMARY
I have upgraded one of my computers to Fedora 40. X11 is no longer an option. Plasmashell is so unstable the computer is not usable. I realize this has been reported before. I cannot upgrade my remaining machines because I would be without a working computer.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Too numerous to mention although simply clicking on the desktop will kill plasmashell
2.

OBSERVED RESULT

Plasmashell tries to recover several times then gives up
