Description Israel 2024-04-26 18:19:33 UTC
SUMMARY:

When enabling the [Swap {Left/Right} Win with {Left/Right} Ctrl] option from the Keyboard \Advanced system settings, such settings always reverts back after a while, regardless of what has been applied -- i.e. the Keyboard\Advanced settings keep displaying what has been configured earlier, but the functionality doesn't match.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to System Settings\Input Devices\Keyboard\Advanced Tab
2. Expand the [Ctrl Position] tree of options
3. Tick the following checkboxes:
3.1 [Swap Left Win with Left Ctrl]
3.2 [Swap Right Win with Right Ctrl]
4. Click Apply

OBSERVED RESULT

The changes take effect, but after a while the functionality reverts back, as if the changes were never applied

EXPECTED RESULT

The configuration is persisted forever or until the users changes it manually
