I want to link with a partition named DATA, but afeter reboot i find the default settings again and again.

Session settings (folder locations) do not remain in memory and return to default settings after each reboot.
I use KDE Neon.
I save my personal data on a DATA partition which is used for other distributions.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Can you attach a screenshot that shows what it looks like after the bug happens following a reboot?

What path on disk is the other partition mounted to?
Comment 4 jean 2024-06-13 15:44:58 UTC
The sweetings are the same, just the folders are not as required.

So the UI shows the correct thing, but the paths shown in the UI are not actually being used?

Can you describe the method by which you observed this?

Also, can you mention what path on disk the other partition is mounted at?
