Description vivian 2024-04-25 20:08:54 UTC
SUMMARY

The bouncing icons displayed when an application is opening leave residual graphics if at the bottom of the screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click an application on your taskbar that takes a few seconds to launch
2. Keep the mouse in a position where the bouncing icon would overlap with the edge of the screen

OBSERVED RESULT
Short video: https://youtu.be/wEaatm9mmPU

Remnants of the icon from the bouncing animation are left under the taskbar still visible. They do not go away when you lock the screen, only upon logging out/entering the user switch menu.

EXPECTED RESULT

The bottom of the screen is free of these remnants.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: Fedora 40
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Observed on a Framework 13 with Ryzen CPU and Radeon 780M graphics.
