I have it set to be centered and auto adjust. when I login to plasma, it has the wrong size and sets my icons to the left. this didn't happened before. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. make a floating panel that will contain the pinned and opened apps, center it to create a dock. 2. login with wayland session 3. the bug happens OBSERVED RESULT the only fix is to open edit mode then escape. but the bug will show up next login or boot. EXPECTED RESULT have no issue but a dock/panel with the correct size and padding. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.1.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION attached a shot of the issue under wayland
Created attachment 168853 [details] the bug itself
When you enter edit mode, do you see it still as "fit content" or does it fall back to "fill width"?
(In reply to Niccolò Venerandi from comment #2) > When you enter edit mode, do you see it still as "fit content" or does it > fall back to "fill width"? by default it was using "fit content" after upgrading from plasma 5.27.x I ended setting it to custom and the bug shows up at random, but less times now. will reboot to see if it persists and reply back

I'll mark as resolved then.
