Created attachment 168795 [details] Depiction of the problem. SUMMARY VLC's *unstylized Qt* tooltips are rendered with the default KDE Plasma 6 font, instead of the font (the `monospace` `fc-alias`) which I've chosen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/test/40_Beta/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-40_Beta-1.10.iso 2. Apply https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/uploads/1137ae2d7256543ffff2a6e2ac79c085/Screenshot_20240422_000602.png as the configuration of `kcm_fonts`. 3. Launch https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/test/40_Beta/Spins/x86_64/iso/Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-40_Beta-1.10.iso OBSERVED RESULT VLC's tooltips are rendered with the default KDE Plasma 6 font, instead of the font which I've chosen. EXPECTED RESULT The tooltips should definitely be rendered with my chosen font. (In reply to Roke Julian Lockhart Beedell from comment #0) I don't know whether this is a bug on KDE or Qt's end, but I'm informed that it shouldn't be on VLC's, at least.
