Description venik 2024-04-19 20:42:00 UTC
In the Time Adjust tool "Timestamp Updated" is wrongly used and reported under the column "TimeStamp Used".
It's easily to spot since you will find that "Timestamp Updated" and "TimeStamp Used" are always the same.
Selecting a different option for timestamp used should change the existing timestamp but only provide a preview under "Timestamp Updated"

let me rephrase:

- The "Timestamp Updated" should accurately reflect the updated timestamp after selecting a different option for the timestamp used: this works.

- The "TimeStamp Used" column should display the timestamp used, distinct from the "Timestamp Updated" value: here there is a bug since it is always reporting the same value of "Timestamp Updated".

I don't see any error here. Timestamp Used and Timestamp Updated are not always the same, it depends on the options whether they add time, subtract time or use time steps etc.

the problem is indeed that they are always reported as the same!

No, they are not always the same, set the time adjustment to add time (days, hours, minutes, etc.) and you will see.

Hi Maik, on windows they are always the same!
For example if "TimeStamp Used" is not valid, if you make adjustment this will change both "TimeStamp Used" and "TimeStamp Updated".

Sorry, you still don't understand. If you use the “Copy value” option for “Time Adjustments”, then of course it is always the same. But you have the option to add or subtract times from your "Timestamp Used", create intervals, etc. That's the big feature of the Time Adjust Tool.

Hi Mike, thank you.
I still think this is a bit confusing from user perspective but I've got your point.
Thank you
