STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start downloading a large file.
2. Open the network widget in the system tray.
3. Click on the current/connected network.

OBSERVED RESULT
The moment I try to monitor the network from the widget, the download speed decreases. If I open the notification or other widgets, the speed remains stable.

EXPECTED RESULT
Monitoring the network shouldn't affect the speed.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm also able to reproduce the bug on another machine with KDE plasma 5.27.10, QT version 5.15.12

Thanks for the bug report! I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this yet.

It looks like this is fixed in Plasma 6.2.5. I am unable to reproduce this bug on that version following the reproduction steps (with either Neon or Solus distros).

This bug should be fixed on your system when your distro updates Plasma to 6.2.5. If the bug is still present on your system with that or a later version, please feel free to reopen this bug report.
