Created attachment 168573 [details] Minimized popup SUMMARY Using the default panel with the position set to the bottom edge and its style set to floating and using the system tray widget inside of it. When maximizing an application, the panel will move to the bottom of the screen, instead of having a slight offset from the bottom. This is expected and working. But what happened in the background, is that all expandable popups (a popup you see when clicking on of the system tray's icons), now are minimized to a basically invisible square. I have to click on the pixel where the popup is and then use my mouse and click and drag to expand it, to make it visible again. This is definitely not intended and a bug. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a default panel to the bottom of the screen and set its style to floating. 2. Maximize any application. OBSERVED RESULT System tray icon's popups are now completely minimized, though can be fixed by expanding them using the mouse. EXPECTED RESULT System tray icon's popups should be fully visible, with its usual size. I'm having the same issue. My configuration is a top panel marked as floating, and when an application is maximized the drop down for the system tray gets minimized to a 0,0 square. To fix it, I have to unmaximize (or go to an unmaximized desktop) and manually resize the popup.
Similar issue. System details below. For me I can cause this "systray" popup menu behavior both when clicking on a window maximize button OR also when clicking on the 'maximize" button on a window that is already maximized (i.e. it reverts to normal size). Similar behavior when using keyboard shortcuts to maximize a window or revert it to normal size. It appears the only way to fix this incorrect popup size is to place the mouse on the little tiny square, window resize cursor appears, then click and drag to resize.
