Install Fedora Workstation 40 pre-release 2. `sudo dnf groupinstall @kde` 3. Log into KDE 4. Probably related to #474966 (which I'm linking). Except in my case the artifact is not thin, does not extend to the bottom, and is visible on the primary (actually, on the only) monitor on a laptop not connected to any external display
