GNOME top left corner with XWaylandVideoBridge installed

SUMMARY
On a fully updated Fedora 40 pre-release system, if I have GNOME and KDE both installed (first installing Fedora Workstation, then 'sudo dnf groupinstall @kde'), a blank window artifact is shown when logging into a GNOME session

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Fedora Workstation 40 pre-release
2. `sudo dnf groupinstall @kde`
3. Log into KDE
4. Log into GNOME

OBSERVED RESULT
See attachment

EXPECTED RESULT
No video artifact, see second attachment which is taken after uninstalling xwaylandvideobridge

Probably related to #474966 (which I'm linking). Except in my case the artifact is not thin, does not extend to the bottom, and is visible on the primary (actually, on the only) monitor on a laptop not connected to any external display
