SUMMARY
In Simplified Chinese (zh_CN) locale, all file types are displayed as English, while in other locales (I tested zh_TW and ja_JP), everything works fine.
This bug is independent of the version of `shared-mime-info`.

This is confirmed to be caused by the upgrade from Qt 6.6.2 to Qt 6.7, but I'm not a developer so can't investigate further causes.

This may not be a bug in kfilemetadata, but a bug of Qt itself...?

Confirmed as a Qt bug. Let's close this now.
