STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tick the option to show battery percentage when not fully charged
2. Reboot

OBSERVED RESULT
Battery percentage disappears after reboot, needing to re-tick the box

EXPECTED RESULT
Battery percentage option should be persistent after reboot

SOLUTION:
Replace the "opensuse panel" with the default kde panel, the changes are persistent this time.
