Created attachment 168356 [details] It just crashes *** If you're not sure this is actually a bug, instead post about it at https://discuss.kde.org If you're reporting a crash, attach a backtrace with debug symbols; see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** SUMMARY So I have used Krita for some time now on ChromeOS. This happened after I found out I had to update Krita because there was a new update, and after I updated and opened it, they said that there was an unusual problem with the software. I tried reinstalling Krita because I wanted it to work, probably deleting all my brushes, but nothing new happened. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Krita crashed EXPECTED RESULT Krita to open SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Confirming based on the amount of posts on KA and elsewhere corroborating 5.2.2 crashing on startup on ChromeOS. But unless a developer can reproduce it, it will need additional information such as a crashlog to be solvable.
Created attachment 168678 [details] attachment-4026156-0.html but i dont know how to open crash logs for an android device on chrome os because when i go into chrome://crashes it does not show the krita crash On Wed, Apr 17, 2024 at 5:06 PM Freya Lupen <bugzilla_noreply@kde.org> wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=485339 > > Freya Lupen <penguinflyer2222@gmail.com> changed: > > What |Removed |Added > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Status|REPORTED |CONFIRMED > CC| | > penguinflyer2222@gmail.com > Ever confirmed|0 |1 > > --- Comment #1 from Freya Lupen <penguinflyer2222@gmail.com> --- > Confirming based on the amount of posts on KA and elsewhere corroborating > 5.2.2 > crashing on startup on ChromeOS.
