Description Marco Rebhan 2024-04-09 14:42:58 UTC
SUMMARY
Dragging a file out of the mail reader only creates a broken desktop entry for mails that have headers Content-Disposition: attachment. Mails containing DMARC reports from Google are formatted this way, for example.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open mail which consists only of the attachment
2. Drag attachment onto desktop

OBSERVED RESULT
It creates a file named "attachment:?place=body". When you try to open it, an error dialog saying "Could not read file attachment:?place=body." pops up.

EXPECTED RESULT
Drag-and-drop works like for attachments in a multipart email.
