Description Mahbod Karamoozian 2024-04-08 20:07:15 UTC
SUMMARY
When you log out not long after you log in KDE just breaks and you will have to kill Xorg and even then future sessions have a potential to break when starting for no reason after that

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into a session
2. Log out right after

OBSERVED RESULT
on X11 it goes into a black screen with cursor
on wayland it just gives up on trying to log you out

EXPECTED RESULT
you should be booted back into SDDM/TTY

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (Rolling)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Preferably do this in a not so fast machine
