Created attachment 168132 [details] 5.27 - Settings panel, clear icons and text SUMMARY On 5.27 using Font DPI of 120 all icons and text is clear and crisp. On 6+ Icons on toolbar are blurry and text in general is blurry. I resize the toolbar to allow 2 cols I think this confuses the scaling of both the toolbar code and kde. Instead of using an icon more suited to a higher dpi it uses a lower res and then kde ends up resizing that. What interesting though is that clicking on the "Start" menu shows crisp and clean text and icons...as per image In addition you can see how even the settings window text looks blurry. In the screenshots. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set scaling to 125% on a 1440p screen 2. Resize toolbar to allow for 2 cols in systray 3. Reboot / logout OBSERVED RESULT Blurry overly large icons with wasted padding, blurry settings window, blurry text in Dolphin EXPECTED RESULT Crisp clean fonts and icons like on 5.27 using Font DPI scaling. If you fullscreen Dolphin or system settings, are text and icons sharp then?
