SUMMARY After creating a folder and then trying to move a file/folder to that folder using the mouse, a drag selection box is shown instead. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a Dolphin File Manager 2. Navigate to a folder which has folders and files 3. Right click in a blank space and hover over the item "create new" until the sub menu appears 4. Select the "Folder..." option 5. Enter a folder name or accept the default 6. Select the "ok" button 7. Hold the left mouse button on a file or folder and attempt to drag it into the newly created folder OBSERVED RESULT A drag selection box is created with the original right click point as the origin. EXPECTED RESULT Clicking and dragging a file works as expected and no drag selection box is displayed after a folder is created SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Opensuse Tumbleweed 20240329 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This bug occurs regardless of the amount of files/folders in the directory, split panels are active or not, and on which file is chosen. I have tried to drag text files, videos, libreoffice documents, etc and all display the same behaviour. The first held left click on a file or folder after the new file dialog disappears will display a drag selection box.
