Description Axel Braun 2024-03-30 12:28:58 UTC
Systemsettings does not detect touchpad und X11, which it is displayed correctly under wayland.
Touchpad is working und X11, but causes cursor to jump around - not seen this under wayland. May be related to the thumb / handpad over touchpad while writing?

Are you using the synaptics touchpad driver?
Comment 2 Axel Braun 2024-03-30 21:44:13 UTC
I guess, at least it is
 Model: "Synaptics TM3512-010"
How can I find out?

Before I open a new bug...only on X11 I have now the problem that the cursor jumps around in the text. No such effect in wayland, and same machine and same style of writing. Can the issue be related to this bug?
Comment 4 Axel Braun 2024-04-17 15:48:04 UTC
Removing xf86-input-synaptics fixed both issues
