Created attachment 167926 [details] Small plasmoid for see the issue SUMMARY On "plasmoidviewer" the size set with "Layout.preferred*" differ from desktop shell. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Download the attachment 2. Run it in desktop shell (the script "real-test.sh" install it and restart the shell) 3. Run it in "plasmoidviewer" (the script "test.sh" launch it) 4. see the difference on right side OBSERVED RESULT On "plasmoidviewer" the root item is slightly smaller then the representation. EXPECTED RESULT Same render between both shells. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.0.2 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2
Thanks for the bug report. I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this yet. There have been many fixes and improvements since this was reported, and this issue may have been fixed. Can you please re-test on your system with Plasma 6.4.1 or later and let us know if you can still reproduce the problem? If you can, please set this report back to REPORTED. Thanks!
