Created attachment 167834 [details] annoying popups Discover When I hover the top left part of the Discover interface with my mouse there will always be these totally unwanted popups that only stand in the way. I can find no way to make them go. Please look at the attachement. Your video shows them moving out of the way. When are they in the way?
(In reply to Harald Sitter from comment #1) > Your video shows them moving out of the way. When are they in the way? Imho they are always in the way. I don't need directions 100% of the time I use Discover. And I know of no other KDE program that behaves in this way. Only the top left section of the Discover ui behaves in this way. So apart from being terribly redundant these popping up keyboard shortcuts in my opinion are at least very inconsistent too.
They are tooltips. They only appear after a delay and are found in many applications.

There is a delay it's just very short https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kirigami/-/blob/master/src/platform/units.cpp?ref_type=heads#L46
I did a quick search but I could find no other KDE app that shows this behavior.
Dolphin for example.
Created attachment 167908 [details] general behavior in systemsettings The behavior of these "informational tooltips" imho should follow the chosen preferences in the system-settings (General Behavior/Display informational tooltips on mouse hover). Why else should I be given the option to choose this?
