Created attachment 167809 [details] Screenshot of the issue SUMMARY When Dolphin is launched and it restores its maximized window state, disk usage menu is shown in the wrong position. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin 2. Maximize its window 3. Close Dolphin 4. Open Dolphin 5. Click on disk usage button in status bar OBSERVED RESULT Menu is shown in the bottom quarter of the screen, with significant amount of space above status bar. EXPECTED RESULT Menu is shown immediately above status bar. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE TUmbleweed KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Dolphin version: 24.02.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This happens in Plasma Wayland. When switching to different window and back the problem goes away (even without opening this menu before switching). BTW this menu is also not captured by Spectacle in "active window" mode. Only "current screen" includes it in the screenshot.
This issue doesn't exist in Plasma X11.
I'm unable to reproduce this issue on Wayland with: Dolphin: 24.12.1 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Can you please re-check and confirm if this issue is still occurring? If it is, please change the status back to REPORTED.
I can reproduce it on openSUSE Tumbleweed with Plasma 6.2.5 and Wayland. Additional information that I forgot to mention is that I have two monitors: First one (i.e. on the left) is Dell S2340L connected via HDMI. Second one (i.e. on the right) is Gigabyte G27Q connected via DisplayPort. The issue manifests only when Dolphin is launched on the second monitor, and seems to be related to vertical position of monitors relative to each other in display settings (second/right monitor is bigger than first/left). If the are arranged so that their top edges are aligned, then there is no issue. If left monitor (the smaller one) if moved down to the middle, or so that their bottom edges are aligned, then the popup is misplaced.
Confirmed with Dolphin 24.12.2 from Flatpak/Flathub (FW 6.10, Qt 6.8.2) Monitors have to be not aligned as described in the above post.
