Description Garry Williams 2024-03-25 21:36:21 UTC
HTTP links in the preview panel no longer open a new tab in my browser. Furthermore, if I right click a link in the preview window, I can click open URL. This immediately changes focus to my browser with the link in a new tab.

The previous behavior was to open the link in a new tab in the BACKGROUND without changing focus.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Navigate to a mail message that contains a hyperlink.
2. Click the link.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Link should be loaded in the background in a new tab in browser already running in session.

Interestingly, it looks like a plain text mail message that contains text that looks like an http link and is made clickable by kmail does open a new tab (without having to right click and select Open URL). But that still changes focus to the browser, which is a regression. Links contained in html messages seem to be the ones that do not click.
