STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open desktop effects 2. Go to the Switch windows section 3. In the visualization section there is a preview button for switching windows that looks like the picture, click it OBSERVED RESULT All previews are different, some are in the upper corner of the screen (I think this is a bug), others have a background, others are displayed normally. EXPECTED RESULT All previews must be in the same style. Thanks for raising this. I can confirm this behavior on the latest Neon / Wayland / Intel graphics and believe this should be improved. To confirm how to duplicate: system Settings -> Window Management - > Task Switcher Click on the preview icon for the selected switcher in the Visualisation section. The following options have a full-screen preview (which is good): - Cover Switch - Flip Switch The following have a smaller non-full screen preview which is aligned with the top left of the screen (not optimal and inconsistent): - Compact - Large Icons - Sidebar - Thumbnail grid I guess this request is in theory a feature request rather than a bug since all options are functional, but I would agreed this overall experience should be made more consistent to improve the overall user experience. Hoping a dev can take a look and review as a possible improvement. Thanks.
