Created attachment 167683 [details] Image of "burn-in" effect after closing file browser. SUMMARY Hello, On Windows 11, when I open the terminal or file browser or any other plugins, use them, and close them, they leave something that looks like burn-in on the screen for a few moments before disappearing. I have screenshots and will attach them. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open terminal or file browser 2. Close terminal or file browser 3. Click on something else to remove burn-in OBSERVED RESULT The burn-in effect is present until I click on something else and sometimes until enough time has passed. EXPECTED RESULT Nothing is left on screen after opening and closing plugin panes. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This isn't happening in any other app and it is not on my screen when I close kate, so I am assuming it is a kate-specific issue. Thank you so much for your time and help!
Hmmm, tried to reproduce that with https://cdn.kde.org/ci-builds/utilities/kate/master/windows/ kate-master-6812-windows-cl-msvc2022-x86_64.7z Unable to do so. Used latest Win 11.
