I *think* the blue area shows up after I have pressed SHIFT F11 to have yakuake on full screen, then press F12 to close it. And if I then open yakuake with F12 again, yakuake is not on full screen anymore and the blue area shows up.
I can reproduce the same, although the color changes depending on the the theme and skin used.
Same here. Pressing the key combo für fullscreen again when yakuake is shown in this weird state lets its window jump to the top left corner and the visual artifact is smaller. After hiding yakuake again it looks normal when when shown afterwards.
