Description Gui Do 2024-03-20 16:15:45 UTC
If you open the start menu via its button and later close it again via this button, the CPU utilization of plasmashell is normal as expected (approx. 1-1.5% CPU).
However, if KickOff is open and you click on the empty desktop, the menu closes, but the CPU utilization of plasmashell remains high at approx. 18%.
However, if an application is open and you click on it while KickOff is open, it closes and the CPU utilization of plasmashell is normal again (approx. 1-1.5% CPU).

Issue exists because of the migrated user profile after migration to Plasma6. New created user does not have this problem anymore. No Plasma6 issue at all.
