After upgrading to Plasma 6 the QuickLauncher will resize it's icons when the taskbar is full of programs. This was not it's previous behaviour in Plasma 5 (the icons never changed size regardless of the amount of windows open). QuickLauncher is a set size and should only change it's icon size in relation to the height of the taskbar (not the amount of windows open). Also the drag and drop within QuickLaunch (i.e. reordering icons) is no longer working and you can no longer drag and drop straight from the start menu (you have to create a favourite and then drag and drop that) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 6.0 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.5.0-25-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland
While I'm at it, when you right click on QuickLaunch you have two options, remove Launcher and remove QuickLaunch. It's fairly easy to accidentally hit 'remove QuickLaunch', this should prompt an 'are you sure' if icons exist on QuickLaunch, no prompt should show if no icons exist.
