Hi

Could this issue perhaps be specific to your laptop? My Thinkpad does not have a 'Fx' key so I cannot disable the touchpad with the key combination Fn + Fx.

However, in Plasma settings I can disable the touchpad in Mouse & Touchpad -> Touchpad -> Enable device.

If I disable the touchpad here and then reboot the touchpad remains disabled.

Would you accept this as a possible solution? Thanks.

In my case (Lenovo IdeaPad S340) Fx is F6 key.

Disabling via checkbox in Settings has no effect. After reboot checkbox enabled again.
