screen position

SUMMARY
This is a bug that happen when LG C9 is connected and enabled. The most left screen isn't at position 0,0. I can start it without problems if LG C9 is disconnected fiscally and connected after plasma session starts. Sometimes wayland starts but with screens overlapping one another.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. connect 3 screens
2. put the most left one below 0,0
3. restart
4. try to login at wayland (Xorg works)

OBSERVED RESULT
PC crashes and freezes at black screen of death

EXPECTED RESULT
Login and actually remember screen's positions.

Can you get us a backtrace https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

Also, does this happen with the free nvidia driver as well?

I didn't had gdb running at the time and this seems the only plasmashell backtrack available (backtrack.txt). I also unable to replicate the problem on kernel 6.10.1, Plasma 6.1.3 and nvidia-open-dkms 555.58.02-9.

The crash you posted looks unrelated as it's the result of a mouse click. Since you can't reproduce it there's a good chance whatever was wrong got fixed.
