SUMMARY
KDE won't show screen locker if you unlock your session and, in less than a second, and lock it again

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock your session/screen with Win+L
2. Wait for screen locker to show up and type in your password and press enter
3. Almost instantly after pressing enter, press Win+L to lock your screen again

OBSERVED RESULT
The screen locker won't show up and you will be presented a black screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
The screen locker should show up again and everything would be fine and happy.

Comment 3 Nate Graham 2024-04-10 19:25:11 UTC
Can also reproduce the issue.
Comment 4 Jakob Petsovits 2024-12-18 19:21:18 UTC
Cannot reproduce on Plasma master from a few days ago. I get the behavior described as "EXPECTED RESULT".
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2024-12-18 19:23:23 UTC
Indeed, same. This was very likely fixed by https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/merge_requests/6881, which is in Plasma 6.2.5 and 6.3.0.
