SUMMARY

The previews have a very low resolution when observed on an 4k@200% screen.
Please see the screenshot which contains a magnification. 

It'd be very great if they looked way sharper. :)

I've scaled down the original desktop image in GIMP and put it next to it for comparison: You can actually read the text even in the tiny preview. Thus I think there's actually plenty space for optimization. :)

Confirmed, but I believe they are some performance considerations here that preclude high resolution previews.
