ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It feels a bit strange opening this issue, since both bug 481955 and bug 483407 exist. But after reading the community page on issue reporting (https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting#Step_5:_Make_sure_it_hasn't_already_been_filed), it seems I am not supposed to reopen, or even comment on closed bugs, but to open a new one instead. Apologies if this is not wanted. Note the problem was supposedly fixed in 6.0.1, however I'm on 6.0.2 and nothing has changed. In a reddit thread (https://old.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1bdkjmc/does_the_same_happen_to_anyone_in_the_x11_version/) others on both 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 on both Arch and Neon (including the original reporter of bug 481955) are still seeing this.

Thanks!
