Description S. Christian Collins 2024-03-14 04:57:04 UTC
SUMMARY
Saving a copy of a color scheme using the colors KCM in System Settings doesn't add the newly saved scheme to the list until navigating away from and back to the colors page. This bug happens in X11, but does not happen in Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to System Settings → Colors & Themes → Colors.
2. Click the pencil icon to edit a theme, e.g. "Breeze Classic".
3. Click "Save As..." and give it a new name, e.g. "Breeze Classic 2", then click "Close".

OBSERVED RESULT
The new color scheme does not appear in the list.

EXPECTED RESULT
The new color scheme should appear in the list.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: KDE neon 6.0
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I noticed that it takes much longer to open the window for editing a color scheme under X11 than it does in Wayland, where it appears pretty much instantly. Perhaps this may provide a clue?
