STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin, open a directory with a name long enough to need an ellipsis at the end ("verylongname verylongname verylongname " is long enough, longer is more obvious though). 2. Mouseover the Dolphin program in the Task Manager and then don't move the mouse. OBSERVED RESULT The Task Manager window preview shows, but the text (program title and directory name), close button, and preview image are all offset. The text and close button are offset to the right, the preview is offset to the right and down. Once the preview shows, moving the mouse will refresh / update the preview window and it displays correctly. EXPECTED RESULT Task Manager window preview looks regular. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.7.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I've seen flickering in the Task Manager window previews of other programs sometimes, perhaps because it seems to load initially, and then update when the mouse moves even if it shows the same data. So perhaps all Task Manager window previews might be susceptible to this issue, and I've only noticed it with Dolphin. Seems that the preview shouldn't change once loaded (and load correctly the first time around)?
Created attachment 167076 [details] Directory with a long name is open in Dolphin and the Task Manager program preview shows offset data until mouse movement
Created attachment 167077 [details] Mouseover Dolphin and another program in the Task Manager, showing program previews with offset data sometimes. The offset issue seems to carry over to the program preview of other programs in the Task Manager as well as affecting the Dolphin preview itself, where Dolphin was previewed directly before viewing the other program preview, provided the Dolphin preview was initially offset.
Can reproduce.
I've also just seen this in cases where Firefox has a tab open with a long title. The Firefox tab title is displayed by the Task Manager preview window where Dolphin would display a directory name, so this doesn't seem unique to Dolphin.
