[Regression] Missing Default Leave in KDE 6 (and annoying one, deciced for us, cannot be changed).

Problem: session management, quick shutdown via keyboard [regression in session management in KDE 6].

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. press ctrl+alt+del

EXPECTED RESULT:
On KDE 5 there was "default leave" in Desktop Session (settings). Despite improper default "default leave" being "logut" (why?), one could set it to SHUTDOWN. You pressed ctrl+alt+del and Enter. [Regression] Missing Default Leave in KDE 6 (and annoying one, deciced for us, cannot be changed).

EXPECTED RESULT:
On KDE 5 there was "default leave" in Desktop Session (settings). Despite improper default "default leave" being "logut" (why?), one could set it to SHUTDOWN. You pressed ctrl+alt+del and Enter. Boom. Done.

Now you have to use touchpad/mouse or arrows (arrows are bad and small on laptops...). One step too many. Please revert how it was and make the default option SHTUDOWN. If you still refuse to make SHUTDOWN the default leave option, then at least allow us to change it for laptops to save battery to put the computer in in the travel bag and do not force us to meddle with menus to just shutdown the computer. This is annoying. On KDE 5.x it was better.

I understand the devs do not shutdown their computers. All other people shut them down and go to work. This saves energy. We do not leave our computers ON for hours on end. Besides this is useful for laptops. You shut it down when you travel (battery...). So having option for the default leave as SHUTDOWN is a must. On KDE 5 it wasn't ideal. Shutdown was not the default leave, but at least it allowed us to change it. Now on KDE 6 someone decided that KDE 6 is only suitable for devs. Let us press "ctrl+alt+del" and "Enter" instead of forcing us to go with mouse/touchpa through menus or using additional steps for ctrl+alt+del. Not everyone is a dev having the computer ON for 24h/day. Revert the changes (and make shutdown the default leave. Devs know where to change it if you add this option instead of removing it).

I agree. While I believe most people leave their computer through the Kickoff menu, and got confused by the options, which is why the menu is also simplified in the upcoming 6.1, I use the “Leave” option on the context menu to leave my session and am annoyed it’s defunct now, too.

Also, be glad I am annoyed by this too, and I will ignore your second comment, otherwise good luck trying to convince someone of your arguments with that tone.

A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-desktop/-/merge_requests/2120

That's definitely broken.

Though do note that it's not on by default anymore. It could be replaced by Shutdown, Sleep, etc.

But it seems shutdown is the default option now. Closing. The fact that the setting is carried over from 5 and breaks the dialog is a different bug, I guess.
