Description U de Recife 2024-03-12 09:21:31 UTC
SUMMARY
Upon starting up the session, the wallpapers are always out of place. This can be corrected by restarting plasmashell though. So a simple login script corrects this. But there's some bug there.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Logout/login or start a plasma session;

OBSERVED RESULT
The wallpapers are out of place, oftentimes overlapping each other.

EXPECTED RESULT
The wallpapers should be in place.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

Is this on X11, or Wayland, or both?

Only X11. Just checked.

Thanks. Could you set your wallpapers to the default Plasma 6 wallpaper and attach a new screenshot, so I can more clearly see the displacement? it's difficult to identify the extent of the issue when looking at wallpapers that are mostly a plain black background.

Thanks. Based on the screenshot, it looks to me like the problem is with your panel, not the wallpaper: it looks like it's floating in the middle of a screen!

I guess that's not actually what's happening, right? Can you also attached a phone photo of the whole setup that shows all three omnitors and the wallpapers?
