Hi after i update to plasma 6 I notice that when i connect my second monitor to my laptop digital clock unable to click some times i cant even right click on panel to edit when i right click. desktop menu appear not panel menu i should reset plasma with plasmashell --replace in krunner to fix that temporary i have two panels one on top and one on bottom digital clock is on top by the way i like new smooth transition when i connect or disconnect monitor my main monitor doesn't go black and back it's like windows SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.7.9-zen1 / 6 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm on wayland
Are you saying that Plasma sometimes freezes when you plug in your second monitor? The symptoms you're describing sound like that, but it's not 100% clear.

So when this happens, if you right-click on the panel background, you see a context menu, but when you right-click on the digital clock, nothing happens?

I'm afraid I'm still having a hard time understanding what exactly the issue is. What kind of GPU are you using? Any chance you could attach a screen recording that shows it happening?

Thanks, that helps. Based on the screen recording, it looks like you're experiencing multiple issues. One related to your top panel, one related to hotplugging monitors, and one related to the very old NVIDIA GPU you've got. The first two should be fixed in Plasma 6.0.3, so let's mark this as a duplicate of the remaining one that's open, which is Bug 478556. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 478556 ***
