SUMMARY

Setting Dolphin's Settings > View > Open archives as folder makes no change in dolphinrc.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Configure > View
2. Toggle Open archives as folder
3. check dolphinrc; no change is recorded. 

OBSERVED RESULT
No change is recorded.

Adding it manually to dolphinrc produces the desired result.
