Description Aria Moradi 2024-03-10 09:58:51 UTC
SUMMARY
The shell design doesn't have a place to show system tray icons, and this is not something that can be ignored because
this is a mobile shell.
As an example in order to actually close Discord and Telegram Desktop you need to right click on their tray icon and then click on close on the menu that opens up.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have Discord open.
2. Close the Discord window.
3. Try to kill the application using graphical interfaces.

OBSERVED RESULT
No possible way.

EXPECTED RESULT
Some place to view and click on system tray icons.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: unknown
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
In platforms like android applications create permanent notifications that you can't clear, maybe a possible solution is creating a fake notification for each system tray icon.
