STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try to change brightness in the System Tray
2. Then try to change brightness with FN keys

OBSERVED RESULT

Sometimes, if you increase brightness to 100% it might just jump back to let's say 80% or 70%. Or if you try to lower the brightness 0%, it might reduce gradually, like it's reducing brightness at 15 frames per second. But changing brightness with FN works perfectly.

EXPECTED RESULT

Brightness changes to what I desire, quickly and percentage not to jump around.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: EndeavourOS with Linux 6.7.9-arch1-1
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I don't think this is an issue with Plasma 6, because I remember I had something similar on Plasma 5 on EndeavourOS and Nobara with KDE. But only now did I decide to try and report this, because I haven't found a solution.

I'll include a short video how it looks.

> Should be fixed in 6.1 with the ported dataengine

I haven't encountered this since the dataengine port went into 6.1. Also there's the extra fixes from Bug 470106, the latest of which went into Plasma 6.1.1. The brightness slider now seems snappy and not jumpy, so I think it's reasonable to mark this as fixed. Let us know if you still encounter any related issues.
