SUMMARY I upgraded KDE Plasma from 5.27.1 to 6.0.1. It all works well until I click anywhere in the taskbar and then the entire plasma shell crashes. I thought it was a problem about the theme so I decides to change from Oxygen theme to Breeze but nothing changes and taskbar still make the entire plasma shell crash. In addition to this, I can also add application to the taskbar, changing application position still triggers the crash. Hold left click long enough on desktop screen will also trigger the crash STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Click onto any tray icon in taskbar and wait until it crashed 2. Change to default theme 3. Try to change the application's order on the taskbar 4. Hold left click in desktop OBSERVED RESULT Taskbar make the plasma shell crash EXPECTED RESULT Taskbar should work normally SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Using Wayland with 6.7.8-zen1-1-zen kernel (64-bit)
