125% global scale.

I changed the global scale to 100% and nothing changed. Everything is the same size. This is an X session.

Comment 7 Nate Graham 2024-03-08 21:19:55 UTC
Can reproduce. I tried a random font (Latin Modern Math 10) and then opened the Colors KCM, and it happened.
Comment 8 Eliseu Amaro 2024-07-25 16:14:35 UTC
Can reproduce. Using Open Sans Medium 11pt or even 10pt. The issue doesn't persist when using 9pt.
This hints that the widgets don't scale with font sizes, at least from my limited knowledge on the subject.

I am however using various environment variables and set a DPI under .Xresources to accomplish a consistent look and feel, here they are:
------------------------------------------------------
# /etc/environment
GDK_DPI_SCALE=1
GDK_SCALE=1
GTK_THEME=Breeze
QT_ENABLE_HIGHDPI_SCALING=0
QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1
QT_FONT_DPI=120
PLASMA_USE_QT_SCALING=1
------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------
# ~/.Xresources
Xft.dpi: 120
------------------------------------------------------

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.6

KDE Frameworks Version: 6.4.0

I should note, I didn't notice this on version 6.1.3-kf.20.1, but did in version 6.1.3-kf.21.1.
Nevertheless, I'm unsure if the issue wasn't there. Just didn't notice it.
Comment 10 Cherkah 2024-08-25 08:37:42 UTC
I'm posting here because this bug seems more recent and is similar to mine.

in my case, there are overflows in the dialog boxes, kcm, system window. In short, it's really annoying.
This appeared for plasma V.6.1.4, I thought that version v.6.1.5 would change something, but nothing.
I took several screenshots to illustrate the point.

this problem affects in the same way my setup composed of two screens with the same resolution (laptop screen and external screen).

see the screenshots to understand (cherk#).
