SUMMARY
I was just testing Plasma 6 on Arch Linux in a virtual machine:
* Downloaded an ISO
* Used the `archinstall` script with the default setting of just the English keyboard layout
* Installed plasma-meta, konsole, dolphin, spectacle, enabled sddm, logged into the Plasma 6 Wayland session
* Used System Settings to configure the keyboard layouts: added "English (US)" and "Russian".

OBSERVED RESULT
No system tray indicator until I logged out and back in.

EXPECTED RESULT
The system tray indicator with the configured layouts appears as soon as I apply the new keyboard layout settings.
