Same here with archlinux, but the shortcut Meta+G works but it's uncomfortable
Its worth noting that it also doesn't work under X11.
It's called "Grid" now. Does that work? It works for me. Does Meta+G work to open the grid?

(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #3) > It's called "Grid" now. Does that work? It works for me. > > Does Meta+G work to open the grid? Ok, that's confusing because Desktop Grid is still present in shortcuts in system settings. Meta+G does work fortunately. I was just trying the Show Desktop Grid shortcut which here is Ctrl+F8. So "Grid" does work, but i'm unable to set it under Screen Edges as I was able to prior to 6.0.0.
Is the issue reproducible in a new user account? I suspect some old shortcuts for actions that no longer exist may be interfering here, and a new user account is the cleanest way to test that.

I created a new account, and "Grid" is not selectable under Screen Edges - only "Overview"
Thanks. That's confusing; it's in there for me.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #10) > Thanks. That's confusing; it's in there for me. When I've got time I'll do a fresh install in a VM and see if its available there.

Confirming on Gentoo desktop grid is not available as a screen edge action. Keyboard shortcut works just as before.
This is fixed for Plasma 6.0.3.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #15) > This is fixed for Plasma 6.0.3. Excellent. Thanks, as always.
(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #15) > This is fixed for Plasma 6.0.3. Hi Nate, I just updated to version 6.0.3 and I don't see the desktop grid option in the corner settings, does it have to be activated from somewhere else or has the change not been applied yet?
Nate probably made a typo. The setting will be available in 6.1
(In reply to Vlad Zahorodnii from comment #18) > Nate probably made a typo. The setting will be available in 6.1 Vlad, Thank you for the update. I'd noticed it wasn't in 6.0.3, too, and had assumed it had missed the boat. It can be a little confusing for us to understand exactly how and when things that get sorted will actually reach our desktops, but please be assured that all the efforts of the likes of you and Nate are hugely appreciated. As I keep saying, you don't get service like this from Microsoft. Regards, P
I did, sorry about that. Would be nice to backport the fix if it's technically feasible though.

(In reply to Matty R from comment #2) > Its worth noting that it also doesn't work under X11. For most of this afternoon, I've been using X11, and the Desktop Grid function wasn't working at all - Is that what you meant? - even from the keyboard shortcut. It seems to have started working, making me wonder whether it was a particular window that was inhibiting things.
