STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. system settings / Mouse & touchpad / Left handed mode


OBSERVED RESULT

The mouse still work as right handed.

EXPECTED RESULT

The mouse should work as left handed.

It was working fine before I upgraded kde neon to plasma 6.

Make sure you've got the right mouse selected in the combobox on top. Sometimes it has multiple devices in it, depending on your hardware configuration. This works as expected for me when I make sure I'm changing the settings for the right device.

Ops, you are right!
I didn't notice there were more than one mouse to choose from.
I confirm it works as expected.

I had a feeling. This would be improved by Bug 467704.
